Cello Requirements

Exposition of a concerto movement from the standard repertoire, a prelude from one of the six solo suites by Bach, plus:

BEETHOVEN, Symphony No. 5, 2nd mvt - mm1-10, mm 49-59, mm 98-108

TCHAIKOVSKY, Symphony No. 4, 1st mvt - mm 27-36, mm 59-77

VILLA-LOBOS Bachianas Brasileiras No 5 - Aria, solo line, mm 20-34 (PDF)

VILLA-LOBOS Bachianas Brasileiras No 7 - 4th movement, opening (PDF)

The audition will also include sight-reading material.
